Talk: Anthony Atkinson ‘Ada Lovelace - daughter of Lord Byron’
Tuesday 12th May (half day)
Visit: Guided tour of Newcastle Civic Centre. Tour starts 10.30am. Meet at the Civic Centre.
Wednesday 24th June
Talk: Local history author Yvonne Young ‘Cobbled Streets and Penny Sweets’
Saturday 4th July
Tour: The Allendales - mines, poetry and fantasy. Led by Robert Forsythe. Bus leaves Hexham Railway Station at 10am, return about 4.30.
Wednesday August 26th
Talk: Ed Graham, Ray Moore & Len Franchetti ‘West Road Cemetery’. NOTE This meeting will be held at The Manors
Saturday September 26th (half day)
Visit: Durham University archaeology deptartment, guided tour and talk with Gary Bankhead who gave us such a great talk last year on the secrets being revealed from the River Wear at Durham. Depart Prudhoe 09.30 (half day)
