1.10.2 Front Street - a journey through space and time
Because of the size of this gallery now that the 2011 photos from the 'Current Photos' Gallery have been captioned and copied in, plus the non-overlapping photos of Gallery 5.1.2, it has been split into eleven sub-galleries, starting on the North side at Road Ends, proceeding to the East up to the Fire Station, crossing the road to the South side and then proceeding to the West to the the bottom of South Road. Within each sub-gallery an attempt has been made to sort the photos into chronological order. The references in the headings to 1919 refer to information obtained from the definitive map of that year which is not backed up by relevant photographs.
